This happens in several ways as follows:

• Patients are not lost if they enroll in the PSN you participate with.
• FQHC benefits by participation with ADVANTAGE FLORIDA HEALTH PLAN may help qualify for a Low Income Pool (LIP) distribution under either of the matching funds processes:

• Via the competitive Department of Health (DOH) process.
• Via the local government provides the full state share match.

** Which PSN should we participate with?
ADVANTAGE FLORIDA HEALTH PLAN is not an exclusive PSN. You could participate in any or all PSN or HMO plans. We feel our experiences and provider oriented approach will make ADVANTAGE FLORIDA HEALTH PLAN your plan of choice.

ADVANTAGE FLORIDA HEALTH PLAN is required to make a good faith effort to execute a contract with a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC), and, if applicable, a Rural Health Clinic (RHC). However, this is truly our goal, not just an effort.
